These words clearly express the views and aspirations of the residents. There is a sense of belonging – a depth of knowledge and shared experiences amongst our little community. Several of our monthly events help to promote this sense of belonging and inclusiveness among residence as well as supporting our local businesses.
The Terrasses Francesca’s residents also believe in the development and sustainability of Vanier/Overbrook communities through a variety of programs as described under the Events page.
The following activities are organized by residents for residents creating the “sense of community”
A monthly gathering of ladies at a variety of local restaurants hosted by our resident Linda B. is a highlight for all. “No Men Allowed”.

The men also enjoy a monthly breakfast/lunch which will alternate between Perkins Restaurant and Roger’s Italian Bistro. Their host John C. sees to the organisation of the event.

The members (men and women) enjoy an evening meal at a local restaurants - such as State & Main, Moxies, Dante’s and Chances R, etc. More information will be made available each month. Once again organised by our host resident Linda B.

Residents will have an opportunity to have a delicious French Canadian meal at Le Domaine de l’Ange-Gardien on March 26th. They will travel by coach to the event organized by Linda B. Unfortunately only 56 places will be available.
Sign-up sheets and details will be available February 28 on the credenza across from the Party Room.

Managed by Wanda H. who recruits volunteers to collect, sort and deliver the items to the local Beer Store.
We always need new volunteers, so please contact Wanda and help us generate funds to host events for the Club Members.
Programs initiated by residents that provided support to a number of organizations.
The 1425 Craft Club is participating in the “Shoebox Project” to produce gifts for homeless women. 89 Shoebox donations were delivered to the Party Room on Thursday, December 5th between 1:00 and 4:00 pm.

Elizabeth V., a 1425 Club Member, has decided to share her love of craft making with you, and is inviting you to purchase one of these beautiful Holiday Crafts for family and/or friends while supporting a very good cause. 100% of the proceeds will go to the "Partage Vanier" Food Bank.
